Every registered guest staying with Alpinresort Kaprun during this period receives the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card for the duration of the stay. The card cannot be purchased separately.

SUMMER BY THE LAKE
Swim, relax and enjoy Lake Zell
On warm summer days, the lidos around Lake Zell are perfect for swimming, sunbathing and enjoying the mountain scenery from the water’s edge.
The Summer Card includes access to participating lidos and also gives you access to the indoor swimming pool in Zell am See when the weather is less cooperative.

Travel throughout SalzburgerLand is included
Your stay also includes the Guest Mobility Ticket Salzburg .
This allows you to use regular trains, Postbuses and the Pinzgau local railway throughout the federal state of Salzburg at no additional costs. The ticket is valid for your entire stay, including both arrival and departure day.
Steam trains, special trains and night buses are excluded. Plan your journey using the Salzburg Verkehr route planner .

High-season arrival-day rules
Between 15 July and 15 September, the Summer Card becomes valid from 3:00 pm on arrival day.
During this period, the following can be used from the second day of your stay:
- The Schmittenhöhe summit ride
- The upper Kitzsteinhorn lifts from the Alpincenter
- One daily round trip aboard the MS Schmittenhöhe
- The Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs
Outside this high-season period, these attractions are also available on arrival day.
DIGITAL SUMMER CARD
Keep your card on your phone
The Summer Card can be issued physically or stored digitally in the Zell am See-Kaprun App .
Use the same email address in the app as the one supplied during guest registration. Multiple family cards can be stored on one phone and shared with travelling companions.
Bring a photo ID, because the card is personal and occasional checks may be carried out.

Where can I get the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card?
All registered Alpinresort Kaprun guests receive the Summer Card included with their stay during the official season. It is issued for every guest, including children, and is valid for the duration of the stay.
When is the Summer Card valid?
It is valid from 15 May to 31 October 2026. From 15 July to 15 September, it starts at 3:00 pm on arrival day. Outside that period, it can be used throughout arrival day.
Can I buy the Summer Card separately?
No. It is only available to registered guests staying with participating accommodation providers, including Alpinresort Kaprun.
What is included?
Included experiences cover major mountain attractions, boat trips, lidos, the indoor pool, Sigmund Thun Gorge, museums and other premium partners. Bonus partners provide additional discounts.

How often can I use the included attractions?
Most attractions can be used repeatedly, subject to the official terms and opening times. Certain high-season services become available from the second day of the stay.
Is the Guest Mobility Ticket the same card?
No. They are separate tickets, but eligible guests receive both. The Guest Mobility Ticket covers regular public transport throughout SalzburgerLand.
Can I use the Summer Card on my mobile phone?
Yes. Store it in the digital wallet of the Zell am See-Kaprun App, or use the physical card supplied to you.
Can one phone hold cards for the whole family?
Yes. Multiple cards can be stored on one device. Swipe between them in the app’s digital wallet.
What happens if my phone battery is empty?
Share the card with a travelling companion in advance or carry the physical card where one has been issued. Screenshots may not be accepted.
Do I need identification?
Yes. The card is personal and valid together with a photo ID. Individual checks may be carried out.
